The new NINJAGO Legends Duskfall storyline comes to its epic conclusion with 71872 Ultra Dragon Battle, depicting a four-headed dragon in battle with the Devourer. Although the set will clearly look nice on display, the designers also had play in mind, as the figures have highly posable features including head, neck, jaw, tail and wings. Can you do better than a rocky dragon head, a sword, a mech and a dragon in a single box? This NINJAGO Legends Duskfall set is delivering just that, conveying a dramatic scene in a set that is intended to be for both play and display. The mech and dragon have adjustable heads, necks, shoulders, knees, legs and ankles. The set’s minifigures are Jin, Mira, Master Ivo and an Oni Warrior.

71870 The Twin Titan Mechs

71870 The Twin Titan Mechs builds two action figures that the LEGO Group promises are for ‘boys, girls and fans’ – then also goes on to mention that they are for ‘teens’! Perhaps they are for anyone who likes NINJAGO?

The two impressive looking mechs have shades of EXO-FORCE, with plenty of gadgetry on each. They are designed to be very posable so that they can be displayed in midair stances. There’s a display stand to place them on if you so desire.

Like the other new June 1 sets, the mechs are part of the Duskfall storyline. The ninja can go in the mech cockpits and the mech’s heads, necks, shoulders, knees, legs and ankles are all jointed. You can switch around the faces of the Kai and Nya minifigures to turn them into new characters Jin and Mira, to take on the Oni Warrior.

Many more new sets have been announced, for City, Bluey, Minecraft, Disney, Friends, Fortnite, Harry Potter, NINJAGO and Chinese Festivals.
