The next batch of LEGO Friends sets include some models that are sure to appeal to adult fans as well as children, with 42705 Cosy Autumn Forest Cabin, 42704 Heartlake City Grand Hotel and 42703 Mermaid Roller Coaster Ride expanding the long-running theme.
Five new sets have been announced for LEGO Friends, all due to launch on June 1. 42705 Cosy Autumn Forest Cabin is sure to find a broad audience, delivering a new type of house to the LEGO portfolio.
Amusement park enthusiasts will want to take a close look at 42703 Mermaid Roller Coaster Ride and 42700 Candy & Cupcake Ferris Wheel, while 42704 Heartlake City Grand Hotel revisits a fancy place to stay. 42697 Creative Dollhouse Suitcase offers a different approach to encourage children’s creativity.
42705 Cosy Autumn Forest Cabin

The set that will most appeal to adult fans in the Friends summer collection is 42705 Cosy Autumn Forest Cabin, which captures the spirit of the fall season. 42705 Cosy Autumn Forest Cabin builds a modern house in the woods, with rustic wooden beams and a stone chimney to incorporate the fireplace. Inside there are all of the cosy details required for a nice stay in nature.
To place the house in the correct setting, there are several trees to build, many pieces in different shades of green and a small brook to construct. It feels very much in the same vibe as the new Botanicals 11505 Woodland Mushrooms model.
Four mini-dolls come in the set – Autumn, Aliya, Leo and Zac – plus Daisy the dog and Fern the squirrel.

As part of the undersea theme, the set includes two mermaid mini-dolls names Serina and Azuria. In addition to the actual course, the set builds a turnstile, park map and slushie stand.

The wedding venue is decorated with a flower arch and the set includes two cats to serve as ring bearers. The top floor has space for dancing, with a spinning floor to help the characters boogie.

There’s also a hoop toss game where mini-dolls can win a prize and a candy floss stall. Three mini-dolls come in the set – Nova, Liann and Zac – so you can take them for a spin on the sweet themed ride.
