A free LEGO ONE PIECE Gum Gum Fruit will be available at LEGO Stores as a ‘make and take’ event for guests to celebrate the launch of LEGO ONE PIECE.
LEGO ONE PIECE fans will soon be able to get their hands on a free set: a LEGO Gum Gum Fruit from the new ONE PIECE theme.
The fruit can be found in the original anime as well as the live action Netflix adaptation, the latter being what LEGO ONE PIECE is based on, and now fans of the shows can take home their very own LEGO Gum Gum Fruit build. It will be available at official LEGO Stores following the launch of LEGO ONE PIECE – although the availability of the free build will be quite limited.
The UK’s promotion will run two days – August 2 from 10.00am – 12.00pm and August 3 from 12.00pm – 2.00pm.
In the United States, the free LEGO Gum Gum Fruit will be available on August 4 from 5.00 – 7.00pm.
Canada’s event will be slightly later, occurring on August 5 from 5.00 – 7.00pm (3.00 – 5.00pm in Quebec).
For information outside of these regions, check out LEGO.com’s ‘Find a LEGO Store’ page or call your closest LEGO Store.
Upgrade your LEGO hobby! If you take out a subscription to Blocks, the monthly LEGO magazine, you’ll get each issue first and at a discount, plus other perks including a free digital subscription and the chance to win LEGO prizes every month.

As a make and take event, the LEGO Gum Gum Fruit will be available free to all guests who visit the LEGO Store during the designated times, though it is intended for visitors above the age of six. Stock is also likely to be quite limited, so Blocks recommends getting to your local store a little before the official event start time to guarantee you’ll be able to build a LEGO Gum Gum Fruit. The build will be limited to one per guest. It won’t be available for purchase, though with it being a free model, wanting to purchase it seems a bit counterintuitive.
This is one of multiple events the LEGO Group is putting on to celebrate the launch of LEGO ONE PIECE, a theme based on a phenomenon of an anime and show. The largest events are taking place in Japan, which you can read more about here.
LEGO ONE PIECE sets are all available on LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores from August 1, so if you head into your local store for the free build, the sets will be in stock as well. Though if you can’t make it to your local LEGO Store for the event and still want to get your hands on LEGO ONE PIECE sets, please consider purchasing them via our affiliate links to help support the work we do here at Blocks, online and in print.
