The latest free LEGO set, 40766 Tribute to Jane Austen’s Books is currently available on LEGO.com with purchases of £135 / $150 or more and will run through June 27, 2025 (unless stick runs out before then). And overlapping the gift with purchase deal is a double Insiders points event, running now through June 23.
Containing 361 pieces, 40766 Tribute to Jane Austen’s Books comes with a cosy recreation of Jane Austen’s house alongside a minifigure version of the famous British author, who penned the likes of Pride and Prejudice, Emma and Sense and Sensibility.
The slice of Jane Austen’s home contains a piano cleverly using lightsaber hilts for legs and spoons for pedals, a corner fireplace and bookshelf. Other details include a flowing curtain pulled away from the window and a handful of pictures hanging on the wall. The images all depict scenes from film adaptations of her famous stories. A nameplate attaches to the base of the model, proudly displaying Jane Austen’s name alongside an inkwell and feather pen.
