Free Easter activities are coming to LEGO Stores in the UK and Ireland, so that children (and, in some cases, children at heart) can take part in brick-built Easter fun.
Children will be able to take part in Easter-themed activities at LEGO Stores in the UK and Ireland, including egg hunts and building events.
The activities will be available at every LEGO Store in the UK and Ireland — there are no excluded locations this time around. From March 27 to April 4, visitors can participate in an Easter Egg Hunt around their local LEGO Store, finding hidden eggs to earn either a sticker sheet or bunny headband.
Then on March 28 and 29, stores will run building sessions for children to create their own LEGO Easter Egg, also entirely free. Times for the building event are 10am – 12pm and 12pm – 2pm on both days. No ticketing is required, though it is best to show up early as this is a while-supplies-last event.
In addition to the egg hunt and building event, LEGO Stores will also have a special Easter stamp for LEGO passport holders. The LEGO passport is free to get — just ask any LEGO Store employee. Collecting stamps doesn’t earn you anything beyond a bit of ink, but it’s a fun way to chronicle your LEGO Store visits, especially when going to a store outside your usual stomping grounds.

Upgrade your LEGO hobby! If you take out a subscription to Blocks, the monthly magazine for LEGO fans, you’ll get each issue first and at a discount, plus other perks including a free digital subscription and the chance to win LEGO prizes every month.
Unfortunately for fans outside the British Isles, these events and stamps are limited to LEGO Stores in the UK and Ireland. They are also intended for children, but since the building event doesn’t require any ticketing, adults are usually welcome to jump in at the make and take stand to build one of the models, too.
The Easter Egg build is actually a collection of different models — there will be a variety of pieces available for builders to customise their eggs with whatever colours they wish. Plates and tiles are placed on a centre frame, which is then topped with an element that lets you hang the egg if you so desire. It’s not a revolutionary build in terms of technique or style, but it is nice to see a make and take have options for personalisation in the store, as it is fairly unusual for this type of event.

Details, dates and times listed here should be accurate for every LEGO Store in the UK and Ireland, whether you’re visiting Leicester Square or Dublin. But if you have any questions regarding any part of the Easter fun, questions are best directed to your local LEGO Store.
