There are some exciting new LEGO Ideas sets on the way, including The X-Files, Godzilla, Tintin and Wallace & Gromit. Blocks Editor Graham E. Hancock and The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks author Daniel Konstanski discuss the new product ideas and share their hopes for what they become.
Graham and Daniel are talking about the exciting new sets that are coming in LEGO Ideas – The X-Files, Wallace & Gromit, Godzilla and Tintin. All of the concepts have been created by talented fans – now they are being adapted by professional LEGO designers, ready for an expected launch in 2026.
Blocks Editor Graham E. Hancock and The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks author Daniel Konstanski share their thoughts on each of the product ideas, highlighting what they like about them and what their hopes are for the final, official versions.

The sets they are discussing are:
“I’ve literally gone from Scully to Mulder, I’ve gone from LEGO X-files sceptic to believer,” Graham says of The X-Files model. He interviewed Brent Waller about a different build inspired by the show a decade ago but at the time didn’t feel like he needed a set inspired by the paranormal adventures of two FBI agents.
The composition of the contest-winning creation has won him over though. “The idea that the finished design will look anywhere close to this, I’m fully in for it.”
Daniel is surprised to see TinTin make into the LEGO portfolio, but in a good way. He was a fan of the stories as a child and finds the build very compelling. “I very much enjoyed TinTIn. I very much hope that they’ll make a selection of the key characters into minifigures,” he says.
Both Daniel and Graham think of 75936 Jurassic Park: T. rex Rampage when looking at Godzilla, imagining how the LEGO model designers could capture the shape of the dangerous movie monster.
They also note that Wallace’s mouth might be conveyed through an element that the fan designer has come up with, so speculate on whether such a piece will be created for the official model.
