LEGO Pick a Brick sets deadline for US orders ahead of major improvements

The LEGO Pick a Brick service that allows fans to order loose elements will pause certain order types in the US ahead of significant improvements to parts availability.

When LEGO.com’s Pick a Brick service expanded to offer an unprecedented portfolio of elements to fans, it did so in a complex way; parts were sorted in ‘Bestseller’ and ‘Standard’ categories, which meant that when you placed an order, different parts were provided from different warehouses, so arrived at different times.

In Europe, all parts are now supplied from the same warehouse, which makes for a very efficient process and a satisfying experience. In the US and Canada though, elements are still split between two categories.

That will all change by March 2027, when all parts will fall under a single category and be supplied from the same warehouse. It will be a big improvement for builders in the US and Canada.

As the busy Christmas shopping season approached though, the migration process that will allow that to happen is being paused. That means that Pick a Brick Standard parts will not be available from November 2 onwards.

If you want to order parts from LEGO.com to a US or Canada address this year, and your order will include Standard elements, you must place the order before November 2.

In addition, Duplo elements “will take longer to return as part of this expansion” – so if you want Duplo parts, order them before November 2 to be on the safe side, as they may not return in the first quarter of 2027.

The LEGO Group added 800 new elements to the service yesterday.

Pick a Brick is a great way to order loose elements for a build project or to inspire your creativity – and you can add elements to a bigger LEGO.com order, so when you buy a set, you can add some loose pieces too.
