The LEGO Group has announced a new Marvel set for adult fans – 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion Buildable Set.
Inspired by the beloved X-Men animation and classic comic books, 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion Buildable Set will launch on November 1. The Xavier Institute for Higher Learning uses 3,093 pieces and will retail for £289.99 / $329.99 / €329.99.
Anyone who orders the set before November 7 will also get a bonus set for free – 5009015 Cerebro.
Build in the same format as modular buildings, the mansion includes Professor X’s laboratory, Wolverine’s bedroom, a medical lab, the lobby, a classroom and a library. There’s also the Danger Room training facility, which can be customised just like in the lore by changing the walls and accessories.

There is a buildable Sentinel that can attack the mansion, which can be displayed damaged or pre-attack, plus 10 minifigures; Professor X, Wolverine, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Storm, Gambit, Rogue, Iceman, Bishop and Magneto.
“This is our love letter to the X Men universe and the X-Mansion,” says Senior Model Designer Justin Ramsden. “It’s fully modular, compatible. We’ve even put in an adapter in so you can fix it to other mistakes that we’ve made in the past.”
“We’ve tried to put as many references and Easter eggs to all the X Men universes,” adds Senior Graphic Designer Mark Tranter. “Whether it’s comics or animation or movies, and just anything that we thought, ‘oh, that’d be fun.’”
