LEGO KPop Demon Hunters will debut very soon – HUNTR/X and the Saja Boys will face off in brick form, while Derpy and Sussie get up to buildable shenanigans.
LEGO KPop Demon Hunters is about to launch with a single product, to be followed up by a whole range of sets in 2027. There is no information yet on whether most of the sets will be 18+ display models, minifigure scale, mini-doll style, BrickHeadz – or something else entirely. Blocks has ideas though about what the sets could and should deliver.
In the meantime though, the first ever LEGO KPop Demon Hunters set should depict Derpy and Sussie and be age marked for children nine and over. The cryptic announcement says the set will be: “the beloved, supernatural creature from the movie”. Adding fuel to the notion, a teaser video shows Derpy’s foot.
So far, LEGO Fortnite has featured digital minifigures of Rumi, Zoey and Mira. KPop Demon Hunters marks the latest collaboration between the LEGO Group and Netflix, following Wednesday, ONE PIECE and Stranger Things. It stormed the streaming stats last year when the animated feature debuted, with its songs proving as popular as the movie itself.

The Sony Animation Studios film sees Rumi, Mira and Zoey – who make up the band HUNTR/X – living their best lives as K-pop superstars, while also dealing with the demons who threaten their beloved fans. It was directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans.
“We are beyond the (hon)moon about this new collaboration,” says LEGO SVP, Product Group, Core Businesses Lena Dixen. “KPop Demon Hunters and LEGO fans will finally get to combine their passions and immerse themselves in the world of KPop Demon Hunters through LEGO building. The movie has taken the entire world by storm, and we just couldn’t wait to work with Netflix on this one. We hope fans will be as excited about the sets as we are!”
“As KPop Demon Hunters continues to break records both on and off screen, we’re delighted to continue expanding this world IRL and partner with the LEGO Group for a brand new collection of beautifully designed and authentically-detailed sets – FOR THE FANS,” said Netflix Chief Marketing Officer Marian Lee.
The LEGO Group’s products come on the heels of toys from Funko, Hasbro and Mattel, as the entire licensing industry looks to capitalise on the Kpop Demon Hunters bandwagon. Blocks has long championed the idea of sets inspired by the film and has a guide to other LEGO sets that fans of the film might enjoy. LEGO Ideas users have submitted creations inspired by the animated epic.
It is one of several new collaborations for the LEGO Group, as the Danish company has also recently announced deals with Crocs and Fifa.
