The LEGO Group and FIFA World Cup 2026 are launching a new collaboration with LEGO Editions 43020 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy, a 1:1 replica of the iconic prize.
43020 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy will come with 2,842 pieces, 1 minifigure and retail for £159.99 / $199.99 / €179.99, available for preorder now with release scheduled for March 1, 2026.
Ahead of the 23rd FIFA World Cup, the LEGO Group is set to reveal a line of FIFA-inspired sets. What all is exactly to come from the new partnership has not yet been revealed, but 43020 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy provides a glimpse of what fans can expect.
The 2,842-piece model is a 1:1 replica of the real trophy, standing 36cm (14.5in) tall, and comes with just about every gold LEGO element possible, using both drum-lacquered and moulded gold bricks. Perhaps unsurprisingly, 43020 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy holds the record for the most gold elements used in a set, making the model sure to appeal to football fans and MOC builders alike.
The top of the trophy can open to reveal the 2026 World Cup logo along with space for the set’s exclusive figure, who holds a minifigure-scale version of the trophy. There’s also a printed plaque under the base that lists all the winning teams since 1974; it’s not an obvious part of the set, but it is a nice extra treat for football fans.

“Winning the FIFA World Cup was one of the most incredible moments of my life, and I’ll never forget what it felt like to hold that trophy,” said Roberto Carlos, winner of the 2002 FIFA World Cup for Brazil. “I know we couldn’t have achieved it without our amazing fans and what this trophy means to them. Now, with the LEGO World Cup Trophy set, fans can create their own version and bring that magic home. This isn’t just about building a trophy; it’s about sharing the love of football with family and friends.”
Beyond the release of 43020 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy, the LEGO Group also plans to offer more surprises for fans as the 2026 World Cup kicks off in June. More sets are scheduled to be revealed throughout the year, falling under the umbrella of the new LEGO Editions theme; LEGO Editions appears like it will operate similarly to LEGO Icons, focusing on iconic items and imagery from the world of football.
“The LEGO brand has always celebrated the power of creativity, inspiring people of all ages to connect through the joy of building and play,” said Julia Golding, Chief Product & Marketing Officer at the LEGO Group. “Collaborating with the FIFA World Cup 2026™ presents an incredible opportunity to honour the world’s most iconic tournament and the global passion it ignites. The FIFA World Cup Trophy stands as a universal symbol of achievement and unity, and now, through the creativity of the LEGO brick, fans everywhere can experience the excitement of it – piece by piece – in true LEGO style. This marks just the beginning of our collaboration, and we’re thrilled to unite families and fans around the world in celebrating football, imagination, and one of the sport’s most legendary symbols in a whole new way.”
Beyond new sets, the LEGO Group will also be present at FIFA Fan Festivals and special tournament events. Details on this aspect of the collaboration have not yet been revealed, but if the LEGO Group’s partnership with Formula 1 this past year is anything to go by, there should be plenty of make-and-take builds and brick-based challenges to be had. Be sure to stay tuned to Blocks to keep up with all the latest info.

“We are delighted to announce this groundbreaking collaboration with the LEGO Group,” added Romy Gai, FIFA Chief Business Officer. “The LEGO brand is one of the world’s most loved and iconic brands, so joining forces with them to present football fans around the globe an opportunity to build their very own version of sport’s most prestigious trophy, the FIFA World Cup, provides perfect synergy. It is the first time FIFA and the LEGO Group have teamed up on such a project, and with the biggest, best and most inclusive FIFA World Cup fast approaching – we hope fans take this opportunity to embrace the spirit of the global game’s greatest event, and bring a little piece of the party into their homes to keep forever.”
