LEGO House 2026 exclusive set is 40507 I Love Billund

The new LEGO House set – 40507 I Love Billund – celebrates the LEGO Group’s hometown, with nods to LEGOLAND Billund, Ole Kirk Kristiansen’s house, LEGO Campus and more.

LEGO House is the destination in Billund, Denmark, where fans can get immersed in the brick unlike anywhere else. To acknowledge the special location where the LEGO Group was founded back when Ole Kirk Kristiansen started making wooden toys, this year’s exclusive set is 40507 I Love Billund.

40507 I Love Billund will be available from LEGO House’s gift shop from March 1 and for a limited time at LEGOLAND Billund when the theme park opens for the 2026 season.

Set details

Launch date: March 1
Pieces: 1,404
Price: 749 DKK

The model is built in three core sections and a fourth part that frames the rest. The layout depicts key locations that you might see or visit in Billund, including LEGO House, LEGOLAND Billund, Ole Kirk Kristiansen’s house, a LEGO factory, LEGO Campus and an aeroplane in a nod to Billund Airport.

To mark the launch of the set, there will be an exclusive LEGO House passport cover, available exclusively in Billund. Guests who visit the Experience Zones can request the passport cover at the LEGO Store by showing their experience zone wristband, for as long as they last.

There will also be a limited-edition art print available in LEGO House store that celebrates Billund in a way that reflects the style of the set.

“Billund is the heart of our story. It’s where LEGO play began and where it keeps evolving,” says LEGO House Head of Experiences Søren Bering Andersen. “With I Love Billund, we wanted to capture not just the landmarks, but the feeling of what this place means to families, fans, and everyone who’s ever dreamed in LEGO bricks.”

The concept was sketched out by Master Builder Stuart Harris, then the model was finalised by Model Designer Maria Jędryszek. For a deep dive into how they designed the set with exclusive quotes, be sure to order Blocks, the monthly LEGO magazine, Issue 137 when it launches on February 27. Billund and the LEGO Group’s histories are intertwined, from the construction and expansion of the first factory, to the opening of LEGOLAND Billund.

Designer signing dates

There will be designer signing sessions, where you can get your set (or perhaps copy of Blocks) signed in LEGO Square:

March 6 – 3.00pm – 4.30pm CET

March 13 – 3.00pm – 4.30pm CET

As well as the exterior of the buildings, there are hidden interiors to discover. The LEGO House builds includes a tiny Tree of Creativity, a gold trophy element marking the recently opened LEGO Masters Academy and four smaller representations of the Experience Zones.

The mini LEGOLAND Billund represents iconic aspects of the original brick-based theme park – the Dragon rollercoaster, a miniature train, a LEGOLAND guard and the colourful gateway.

A colourful Lego model depicting a miniature theme park scene, featuring buildings, trees, and figures representing attractions, with a prominent Lego tower and a crane in the background.
This sketch model was developed by Master Builder Stuart Harris, before Model Designer Maria Jędryszek took over the model to mature it into an official set.

“Why do we do LEGO House exclusive sets?” Master Builder Stuart Harris rhetorically asks when presenting the set. “Ever since we opened LEGO House, we’ve tried to create unique experiences here in the in the House. And as part of that, we wanted to also make a unique retail opportunity.

“Physically coming to the LEGO House was your chance to get a unique set that could be only purchased here in LEGO House in Billund. So it’s part of the experience of coming to LEGO House, which is why we do these sets.”

40507 I Love Billund is based on a idea that Stuart has been thinking about for a while. “When the postcards and the Architecture Skylines came out, I thought it would be great to celebrate Billund somehow like this, I thought it was  probably not suitable for a global product, but it would be really, really good to have in sold in Billund itself.

“So it has been on the back burner in my mind for a couple of years, then I had the opportunity to propose it for the 2026 launch set. I had already developed a number of different concepts for the 26 launch so it was really at the last minute that I added this direction as being one of the options and luckily, this is the direction that we chose.”
