Blocks is thrilled to be collaborating with LEGO House and becoming part of the Character Creator experience, starting today.
LEGO House is open today, ready to welcome guests throughout 2026 and Blocks, the monthly LEGO magazine, is now part of Character Creator. You can make your own minifigure and put them on a magazine cover through some LEGO magic.
Don’t worry if you are not visiting right away – Blocks will be part of Character Creator for a full year, so there is plenty of opportunity to make your own Blocks covers. LEGO House is located in Billund, Denmark, just a few steps from where the LEGO Group was founded – and it’s the ultimate destination for fans of the brick.
Character Creator is part of LEGO House’s Green Zone. In this experience, you build an original minifigure from the thousands of parts available, then place it into the special photo stations. You can then choose a magazine cover to add your minifigure to – now including Blocks!

Upgrade your LEGO hobby! If you take out a subscription to Blocks, the monthly LEGO magazine, you’ll get each issue first and at a discount, plus other perks including a free digital subscription and the chance to win LEGO prizes every month.
As with all of your LEGO House memories, if you scan your wristband you will then be able to download your magazine cover and share it. Do tag Blocks when you do because we would love to see what you come up with.
To access Character Creator at LEGO House, you’ll need to buy a ticket to the venue’s experience zones. There are many other activities to try, including Build the Change, in which you build something to a brief from a minifigure scientist, the Masterpiece Gallery, where amazing models from talented fans are on display, and the History Collection, the place to see artefacts from LEGO history including many classic sets.
To kick off 2026, LEGO House has a Wild Animals theme – you can craft a creature in Red Zone and admire amazing animal builds throughout the venue.
LEGO House has also just opened the new LEGO Masters Academy, where you can learn new build skills in a replica of the television set. That new experience requires an additional ticket, but you do get to take what you construct home with you.
If you want to get new LEGO set announcements straight to your inbox, sign up to our free newsletter. Of course, if you really want to upgrade your LEGO hobby for the true insider experience — including exclusive interviews about the design process of all the latest LEGO sets — take out a subscription to Blocks, the monthly LEGO magazine for fans.
