LEGO Editions has revealed 43019 Football, the latest set designed to capitalise on the excitement leading up to the FIFA World Cup this summer.
LEGO Editions 43019 Football will come with 1,498 pieces and retail for £99.99 / $129.99 / €119.99, releasing on March 1, 2026 on LEGO.com.
While not directly licensed by FIFA, 43019 Football joins the new LEGO Editions theme, which revealed its first set, 43020 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy, earlier this year, so the collection is remaining consistent to football while branching out from licensed products, giving the suggestion that it’s likely to be a LEGO Icons-type theme specifically for sports.
As for the set itself, most of the pieces go into building the football, while a few are reserved for a base that lets it sit on display without threat of rolling off your shelf. Large dish elements are the bread and butter of the build, with some getting printed decoration and others staying plain. Some stripey brick-built details then fill in the gaps between each dish.

A sticker detail on one of the dishes proudly declares the model to be the same size as a real size 5 football, though does warn against kicking it. The sticker also includes the set’s piece count but oddly lists it as 1,497 — one less than what’s on the box. Given that the stand uses much more than just one piece, it’s unclear which element has been unceremoniously dropped, or if the sticker has been printed in error.
Beyond the sticker and the prints, the exterior is fairly simple, with the majority of pieces putting in work behind the scenes in a Technic frame that holds it all together, but the set is hiding some flashy details where you wouldn’t expect — inside the football.
Pressing a button will open up the football to reveal a micro stadium built inside. Decorated tiles show a packed crowd of minifigure fans excitedly watching their team hoist the championship trophy (which, notably, is not the same as the minifigure-scale FIFA World Cup Trophy in 43020 FIFA World Cup Trophy, as this set is unlicensed). A team of nanofigures is gathered on stage to accept the prize as sparkling lights shoot out behind them as part of the Technic mechanism that opens the football.
That appears to be all that 43019 Football will have to offer in terms of features, unless you’re eager to flaunt the sticker’s warning and see how well the set fairs on the pitch.
43019 Football will not have a preorder window and instead go live for everyone on March 1, 2026, on LEGO.com as well as releasing in LEGO Stores. If you’re interested in adding it to your collection, please consider purchasing the set via our affiliate links to help support the work we do here at Blocks, online and in print. No pressure if you’re on the fence, though — Blocks will have a full review of the set in an upcoming LEGO magazine to help you evaluate whether or not to buy it.
