Three new LEGO Toy Story sets have been revealed, including an 18+ display set and play sets for children featuring some of the franchise’s most beloved characters.
It’s back! The one and off again Toy Story theme has returned as part of LEGO Disney, ahead of the release of the fifth film in the beloved Pixar series.
The LEGO Group has announced three new Toy Story sets for release on May 1, 2026. They are:
- 43301 Slinky Dog Bookends / 1,311 pieces / £139.99 / $149.99 / €149.99
- 43306 Lotso / 570 pieces / £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99
- 43307 Alien with Pizza Planet Rocket Ride / 714 pieces / £54.99 / $59.99 / €59.99
These new sets are releasing ahead of Toy Story 5, the latest film in the franchise, which premieres on June 19. None of these sets are direct tie-ins, instead focusing on fan favourite characters.
43301 Slinky Dog Bookends is the only 18+ set of the bunch, targeted at older collectors who saw the original films in cinemas as children (we’ll spare you a reminder of the first film’s release date). Slinky Dog is split in two, as bookends usually are, as is attached to a brick-built book at both ends. It’s essentially a large-scale model of Slinky Dog chopped in half, but it is possible to detach the books and combine the halves into a single model, turning it into a proper large-scale model of Slinky Dog, no longer chopped in half. This allows the set to appeal to two audiences — one who wants the actual bookends and one who wants a model of Slinky Dog, plus some pretend books.
Two figures are included: a minifigure of Woody and a moulded version of Slinky Dog. Various versions of Woody have appeared in many a LEGO Toy Story set before, while this is the first appearance of Slinky Dog. The figures each get a secret area within the books. Slinky Dog can fit in the spine of one and Woody gets a whole interior in the other.

43306 Lotso and 43307 Alien with Pizza Planet Rocket Ride are both 9+ sets intended as play sets that also looks like they will work as display models.
43306 Lotso is a brick-built version of the deranged teddy bear from Toy Story 3. This is a figure designed with play in mind, so his face, arms, hands and legs are all posable. He also gets his trademark walking stick.
43307 Alien with Pizza Planet Rocket Ride builds one of the little green aliens in similar style to 43306 Lotso but adds a large build for the rocket ride. The two are fully separate constructions, so the alien can be removed from the ride to go on other adventures. A crank operates the machine, making it fully functional. There’s also a slice of pizza for that final bit of detail.
