See your custom Batmobile in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

The latest LEGO Ideas challenge gives fans a chance to see their custom Batmobile builds featured in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.

The LEGO Batman: Build the Legacy of the Batmobile challenge is now live on LEGO Ideas, giving five lucky fans the chance to see their Batmobile builds featured in the brand-new LEGO Batman video game. The challenge is open now through May 13.

This new LEGO Ideas challenge tasks builders with creating their very own Batmobile design to rival the Dark Knight’s most iconic rides. There are no real limitations; it just has to look like a Batmobile. Which means you’re probably best-off working in black or very, very dark grey. But other hues are allowed. It also must pay homage to decades of Batman lore, so throwing in an easter egg or two isn’t a bad idea, either.

There will be five grand prize winners, which is more than the typical LEGO Ideas challenge, and there are some serious prizes for all five selected.

Of course, there’s a prize pack of LEGO sets, all befitting the Batmobile and Legacy of the Dark Knight theme. 76330 Batman Logo, 76331 Batman v Superman Batmobile, 76332 The Batman Batmobile and 76333 Batman & Robin Batmobile will be given to each winner. There will also be a digital code for the Deluxe Edition of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on the winners’ chosen gaming platform.

But the crowning prize is that all five winners will see their Batmobile designs featured in Legacy of the Dark Knight. They won’t be playable in the game, but they will feature on a billboard in Gotham City, created by the LEGO Game Art Team.

The contest is open now through May 13, 2026. A timeframe for when the winners will be added to the game hasn’t been shared, but given the game’s release date is May 22, there’s a slim (but possible) chance the celebratory billboard will be ready for launch day.

You can submit your Batmobile and check out all the nitty-gritty details and legal stuff on the official LEGO Ideas challenge page. Good luck!

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is out on May 22, 2026. Ahead of its release, Blocks Issue 139 will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes content about the game, plus a look back at LEGO Batman video game history and an interview with the designer many of the classic LEGO Batcave sets.
