Selfridges department store on London’s Oxford Street will host the Toy Project’s LEGO brick takeover this July.
Visitors to Selfridges will be able to buy and donate used LEGO sets this July. There may be retired and rare LEGO sets for collectors to discover. The Toy Project is a charity dedicated to bringing play to communities through recycling toys, hosting play sessions and supporting local organisations.
Selfridges’ top floor is home to one of The Toy Project’s shops, where you can find a range of second-hand toys… including retired LEGO sets. All of the proceeds from the sales are invested into the charity and offer more play opportunities for the community, including vulnerable families and children living in difficult situations. One of the organisation’s goals is to improve sustainability around play by keeping toys in circulation instead of them being thrown away.
From July 1 until July 14, you can head to the top floor of Selfridges, Oxford Street, London, to check out the LEGO sets and minifigures that are for sale or donate any sets that are taking up space and deserve a new home.

Upgrade your LEGO hobby! If you take out a subscription to Blocks, the monthly LEGO magazine, you’ll get each issue first and at a discount, plus other perks including a free digital subscription and the chance to win LEGO prizes every month.
You can also donate any unwanted toys, including LEGO sets and minifigures at the store – The Toy Project will use them to provide play experiences and raise funds.
