LEGO Speed Champions 77252 APXGP Team Race Car from F1 The Movie announced

77252 APXGP Team Race Car from F1 The Movie is the latest set from the partnership between the LEGO Group and Formula 1, launching next year as part of Speed Champions.

LEGO Speed Champions 77252 APXGP Team Race Car from F1 The Movie has been unveiled. The 268 piece set will retail for £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99 when it launched on January 1, 2026.

The LEGO Group continues to add to the Speed Champions garage with 77252 APXGP Team Race Car from F1 The Movie, a 268-piece model replicating one of the sleekest cars from the 2025 Formula 1 film. The brick-built car features the movie’s signature black-and-gold livery, sponsor stickers and wider rear tyres printed with ‘Pirelli’, capturing all of the key design details from the on-screen vehicle.

77252 includes two F1 driver minifigures — Sonny Hayes and Joshua Pearce — each equipped with individual helmets and wigs.

The LEGO Group is promoting that the set includes “a wrench that can also be used to apply stickers and separate bricks.” It’s also a minifigure accessory so you can imagine the characters are fixing the car.

F1 The Movie was released earlier this year, directed by Joseph Kosinski, starring Brad Pitt and  Damson Idris. In the 1990s, Sonny Hayes was Formula 1’s most promising driver until he hand an almost career ending accident. Thirty years later, he is convinced to return to the track by the owner of a struggling Formula 1 team. Driving alongside the team’s hotshot newcomer, Sonny learns that he can’t find redemption alone. The feature proved to be a box office success and enjoyed critical acclaim.

The LEGO Group has released a range of Formula 1 sets throughout 2025, in City, Technic, Speed Champions and other themes.
