The latest issue of Blocks, the LEGO magazine for fans, is packed with exclusive interviews, expert insights and creative inspiration. Issue 145 explores the largest LEGO sets ever released, showcases spectacular Christmas creations, goes behind the scenes of 67006 The Marvel Skyline and reveals how BrickLink Designer Program models progress from initial sketches to finished LEGO sets.
Blocks Issue 145 is available to order worldwide, either as a single issue or through a great value print subscription. The new LEGO magazine will be available in UK stores from November 6.
Exploring the largest LEGO sets ever made
With 12,060 elements, 21065 Sagrada Família is the largest LEGO set of all time. This month, Blocks examines the builds that have pushed the boundaries of the LEGO System, exploring how the LEGO Group continues to expand the possibilities of large-scale construction.

Inside the design of 67006 The Marvel Skyline
Looking ahead to 2027, Blocks speaks to Senior Model Designer Bjarke Lykke Madsen about creating 67006 The Marvel Skyline, a new style of set for the comic book theme.
Senior Graphic Designer Mark Tranter also shares insights into the graphic design work behind the model, including the challenge of creating tiny spider webbing and using the Kirby Krackle in his design for the first Galactus minifigure.
Another exclusive interview features Brick Experience Manager Maxx Davidson, who discusses 50090 LEGOLAND Park Adventure, an upcoming theme park exclusive. Combining an upscaled minifigure, a roller coaster and a micro-scale Miniland, the model presented a unique design challenge: bringing several different approaches together in one cohesive creation.
Christmas LEGO creations from LEGO House
The professionals behind LEGO sets are getting extra creative this festive season. LEGO House is hosting a special, short-term exhibition in its Masterpiece Gallery titled Home for the Holidays.

The exhibition features a collection of Christmas-themed models, each telling its own story through building techniques, details, imaginative design and of course plenty of seasonal iconography. Builders Dídac Perez Soriano, Isaac Snyder, Owen Davis, David Guedes, Isabelle van Vleuten, Lee Magpili and more share the inspiration and stories behind their festive creations in this month’s LEGO magazine.
From fan design to official LEGO set
BrickLink Designer Program gives talented fan designers the opportunity to see their creations become official LEGO sets. Issue 145 goes behind the scenes with Marcos Garavelli, Maria Kalaoglou and Taylor Anderson to discover how they developed their models, refined their designs and prepared them for release in branded boxes.
The feature follows the process from initial concept to finished product, with development images of Marcos Garavelli’s 910034 Brick Cross illustrating the journey from a rough sketch to the final render.
Quick Builds, reviews and more LEGO inspiration
Looking for inspiration for your next building session? This month’s Quick Builds offer three compact projects, with just twelve steps each.
Build a modern take on 6607 Service Truck, create a tiny version of 76355 Batman Returns Batmobile or put together a decidedly not-so-super 75457 Executor Super Star Destroyer.
There is plenty more to discover across the 116 pages of Blocks Issue 145, including:
- Reviews of new festive sets, including 11387 Holiday House.
- An impressive collection of cyberpunk car builds.
- A look back at LEGO Rock Raiders.
- The top 10 uses of LEGO light bricks.
- Exclusive interviews, building inspiration and insights into the design process.
