Another new LEGO Ideas set has been announced – Motorized Lighthouse has been selected for official release and will launch sometime next year.
LEGO Ideas is the theme that asks for fan designs, and the official review panel has been sifting through 25 product ideas from the last few months of 2020. One concept has been selected to be launched as an official set – the Motorized Lighthouse by Sandro Quattrini. The beautiful model depicts a lighthouse at a smaller-than-minifigure scale.
‘His awesome idea for this majestic lighthouse has really inspired us to go forward with something that could have really cool electronics in and we really want to see it in the dark, lit up, to show us all the way home,’ said LEGO Ideas Design Manager Sam Johnson.
‘I would like to thank all of the supporters, everyone who shared this project, who ensured that we made it as far as we have,’ said Sandro.
