LEGO Ideas Activities are back, giving fans space to participate in building events and community votes.
Fans of LEGO Ideas will once again be able to participate in Activities on the platform, letting them engage with the site in a lower stakes way compared to submitting projects to become official LEGO sets.
Activities aren’t a new feature for LEGO Ideas, but they had been dormant for quite some time while LEGO Ideas underwent a site-wide refresh. They’re designed to be light and fun, bringing some levity to a platform that can feel a little stressful for those hoping their ideas earn enough votes to become LEGO sets.
The first activity is live now: Build a Celebration Duck. It tasks builders with designing their own classic LEGO duck with a festive twist. There’s no prize and no vote associated with the activity; it’s pure LEGO brick fun that lets people show off their creations.

Upgrade your LEGO hobby! If you take out a subscription to Blocks, the monthly magazine for LEGO fans, you’ll get each issue first and at a discount, plus other perks including a free digital subscription and the chance to win LEGO prizes every month.
In addition to building activities, the new Activities page plans to revive one of the coolest parts of the old page: community votes.
Every so often, LEGO Ideas will put something up to a community vote, giving fans direct input for a new set or product. Previous votes include what minifigures should go in 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine and who should be on the cover of the latest LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopaedia.
There’s just the one duck-themed activity live now, but there’s already another planned for next week, so the new Activities page looks like it’ll be plenty lively. To check it out, head on over to the LEGO Ideas website.
