The beloved LEGO Harry Potter theme will round out the 20th anniversary year with a scavenger hunt that offers a bundle of prizes.
On November 6 and 7, LEGO Harry Potter fans in the UK can try their hand at a real scavenger hunt in London, Edinburgh and Cardiff or an online version if they live in a different part of the country. This year marks two decades since the theme launched and became part of the LEGO world – Neville Longbottom actor Matthew Lewis recently celebrated the milestone.
A brick-built Ford Anglia will be the goal, with whoever can follow the clues to find it first winning a Wizarding World prize bundle.

‘There has certainly been some magical meddling going on across the UK, with our golden minifigures scaled up 25 times and hidden UK-wide for families to find,’ says the LEGO Group’s Leonora Lennie. ‘Whoever has hidden the LEGO Ford Anglia has done a very good job – we can’t find it anywhere so we’re calling all witches, wizards and muggles UK-wide to join in at a city near them, or online, to help us track it down and bring it back safely!
‘We want all families to be able to experience this regardless of where they live, so with our immersive digital offering, they can virtually travel around the UK and join in the LEGO Harry Potter Magical Mystery Hunt.’
