A new LEGO DC Batman decorative set has been unveiled featuring the Crown Prince of Crime – 67012 The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover.
LEGO Batman has experimented with different types of models in recent years, including the dramatic 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City. The next set to offer a decorative wall piece is 67012 The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover.
The new set uses 1,849 pieces and will retail for £149.99 / $169.99 / €169.99 when it launches on January 1, 2027.
It is inspired by the cover of Detective Comics #880 (2011), illustrated by Jock. Unlike 31205 Jim Lee Batman Collection, it uses a variety of elements to craft the Joker’s face in black, grey, white and red. The model uses interesting parts including console controllers, bat wings, batarangs, swords and more.

“There’s lots of details in the image,” says Senior Model Designer François Zapf. “A lot of bats flying off this Joker head. He’s trying to depict his obsession with Batman, with the eyes, all the bats everywhere.
“We wanted to be true to the graphic design and the approach the artist took. I ended up using a lot of different elements just to capture this. You have some fins, swords, you have some controllers over there. Anything that is indicating the shape.”
The designer, who previously worked on 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith, presents 67012 The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover at LEGO Fan Creator Summit 2026. “It’s unusual. It’s something we’ve never done before. It’s a fresh new approach and I’m really happy that we were able to do this one.”
The comic book sees Commissioner Gordon’s ex-wife targeted just after the Joker escapes from Arkham Asylum. Batman tracks down the villain, but it turns out all is not as it seems – his grinning nemesis may not be responsible for Barbara Eileen’s condition. The story is written by Scott Synder.
67012 The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover has been announced alongside two new Batmobile sets – 67008 Batman Returns Batmobile & Duck and 67009 Arkham Batman Batmobile.
