This is a fun set, as you can see just by looking at it. The main build is a swing ride, themed to a banana, with a monkey mascot popping out of the signage holding a banana. One of the children in the set has a banana on their torso, continuing the motif.
There’s also the classic hook-a-duck challenge and a strength challenge. The former is neat as it includes two yellow duck elements, while the latter actually works – a Technic element flies up the pole if you tap the target with enough force.
If you already have a fairground set – and most fans probably will by this point – then this is a fun complementary model that can sit alongside it.
SCORE: 62
VERDICT: Three fairground attractions are perfect for enhancing your existing LEGO layout.
