The set is made up of 3,491 pieces and will retail for £389.99 / $449.99 / €429.99 when it launches on August 29.
The detailed model presents a cross section of the towering Ministry of Magic offices that are hidden from muggle sight in London. Only wizards and witches who know the location of certain magical telephone boxes or are willing to flush themselves down the toilet can access it.

76476 The Ministry of Magic – Collectors’ Edition features a street-level scene, which is making its debut in the LEGO Harry Potter theme. A classic red telephone box with a working function transports visitors to the Ministry of Magic below ground.
Some of the most iconic scenes from the Harry Potter movies take place within the Ministry of Magic. The set features the Hall of Prophecy in the Department of Mysteries, with rows of crystal balls containing the fates of witches and wizards from across the ages that can be toppled over at the push of a lever. The Veil stands ominously in the Death Chamber.
The courtroom where Harry Potter faces trial for performing underage magic and Arabella Figg comes to his defense as the sole witness is on the first floor. A plethora of pink is entirely appropriate for Dolores Umbridge’s office, while muggle artefacts are scattered across every surface in Arthur Weasley’s office.
The offices stand around a central courtyard decorated with the Ministry of Magic banners that depict Cornelius Fudge as the current Minister for Magic. A golden minifigure sits below the banner and recreates the Fountain of Magical Brethren, which represents harmony amongst the different magical communities in the Wizarding World.
To fill out the offices and recreate the memorable moments that occur in the storied location, 76476 The Ministry of Magic – Collectors’ Edition includes 14 minifigures: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Professor Dumbledore, Arthur Weasley, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Nymphadora Tonks, Sirius Black, Arabella Figg, Mad Eye Moody, Dolores Umbridge, Lucius Malfoy and Lord Voldemort.
Kingsley Shacklebolt comes with an exclusive lynx patronus, which he uses to smuggle out messages from the Ministry of Magic – it’s the lynx that warns the Weasleys that the wedding between Fleur Delacour and Bill Weasley is about to be crashed by Death Eaters.
Harry Potter debuted in the LEGO portfolio 25 years ago and 76476 The Ministry of Magic – Collectors’ Edition is just one of the anniversary sets that are available. A huge range of sets has launched, including 76462 Hogwarts House Crest, 76469 Dobby the Free Elf, 76471 Knockturn Alley: Wizarding Shops, 76473 Hogwarts Castle: East Wing, 76474 Hogwarts Herbology Plants, 76475 Forbidden Forest: Expecto Patronum, 76477 Norbert: Hagrid’s Baby Dragon and 76478 Book Nook: Dumbledore’s Office. They all feature a special ‘25 years of magic’ logo on the box and some include unique minifigures and patronus characters. A LEGO Harry Potter land also is set to open at LEGOLAND as part of the 25th anniversary year. Mini 40975 Mini Hogwarts Castle is also on the way on August 29.
