Blocks magazine Issue 110 goes inside 10326 Natural History Museum

It’s time to head inside LEGO Icons 10326 Natural History Museum with Senior Model Designer Chris McVeigh in Issue 110 of Blocks, the monthly LEGO magazine. We also take 10321 Corvette for a test drive!

Issue 110 is available worldwide now, as part of a subscription or a single issue. It will be in UK stores from December 7.

It’s Black Friday! And that means you get extra goodies when you subscribe to Blocks magazine this weekend…

Be quick to take advantage of these deals – offers end on December 5 at 9.00am unless stock runs out before then.

Speeding to the front of the Reviews section is 10321 Corvette, the latest detailed car model from the LEGO Icons theme – find out if this is one you should add to your brick garage. If Star Wars is more your thing, the latest Force-filled reviews include 75367 Venator-class Republic Attack Cruiser, 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship and 75357 Ghost & Phantom II. For Potterheads, there’s a magical look at 76419 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds and 76423 Hogwarts Express & Hogsmeade Station.

A careful eye is also cast over 10326 Natural History Museum – but it’s not just the Blocks verdict on the new set. Senior Model Designer Chris McVeigh gives us an exclusive tour of the new modular building to see what secrets he packed into this extra-wide building.

LEGO House has upgraded Story Lab, with inspiration from Space, Castle and Pirates – the creatives at the very special venue reveal how they took an existing experience and enhanced it.

This is an essential issue for LEGO locomotive enthusiasts, as Blocks provides a first look at 21344 The Orient Express Train, counts down the finest engines to have rolled out of the station, then explains how Harry Potter and AFOLs kept the train dream alive for a new generation.

There are plenty of pirate builds to admire in a feature on Brethren of the Brick Seas, a community role-playing game that sees AFOLs building amazing ships and islands while weaving them into a sprawling narrative. If you prefer builds with instructions, you can follow along and build a mini Venator, a DREAMZzz unicorn or a minifigure-scale snowmobile.

Within the 116 page magazine you’ll also find reaction to LEGO Animal Crossing, the scoop from Skærbæk Fan Weekend, the story behind ‘What it is is beautiful’ and much more.

Blocks is giving away LEGO Icons 10326 Natural History Museum! To be entered into the prize draw and to get Blocks magazine delivered every month – ahead of the shops – check out the money-saving subscription deals available.

Everyone who subscribes to the print edition by January 3 will be in with a chance of winning (existing subscribers will automatically be entered into the prize draw).

Black Friday deals will end on December 5 at 9.00am UK time or while promotional stocks last.
