LEGO Masters Academy is open in LEGO House

The latest addition to LEGO House, LEGO Masters Academy, is available to book and visit in Billund, Denmark.

LEGO House is the ultimate destination for fans of the brick, just a few steps away from where the LEGO Group was founded by Ole Kirk Christiansen and where the company’s headquarters is still located.

A new attraction has opened as part of LEGO House’s offerings – LEGO Masters Academy. It’s based on the international television show that sees creative enthusiasts competing to be judged the best builders.

The experience costs either 199 DKK or 249 DKK in addition to a regular LEGO House ticket.

It is set up as a replica of the LEGO Masters set, so as you enter you get all of the lights, music and razzamatazz that comes from a big TV production. Once inside, you embark on a guided build session in which you are taught a specific LEGO brick technique, such as greebling or SNOT.

You will then customise your creation and take it home with you.

At launch, there are two options available;

  • Level 2 ‘Build Me Up’ – A family-friendly creative session that encourages collaboration, design thinking and playful storytelling. Suitable for kids aged 5+ and their families. 75 minute duration.
  • Level 3 ‘aROUND the bricks we go’ – A more advanced hands-on challenge focused on techniques, structure and detail. Recommended for guests aged 10+ looking to take their skills to the next level. 90 minute duration.

Levels 1 and 4 will open in 2026.

LEGO House was built to celebrate the fans whose creativity has shaped the LEGO brand,” says LEGO House Managing Director Kathrine Kirk Muff. “Within the LEGO Masters Academy, we continue that mission — inspiring the master builders of tomorrow by sparking imagination and equipping them with new building skills they can take home. Our hope is that every visitor leaves inspired, confident, and ready to build in new ways they never imagined before.”

Most recently, LEGO Masters Jr. aired in the USA over four episodes as young contestants competed to see who could build the best masterpieces.

To celebrate the launch of LEGO Masters Academy, LEGO House is also offering the following:

  • LEGO Masters 2023 winning build, The World Wonderliner Exhibit, will be on display at LEGO Square in LEGO House until October 26, 2025.
  • Visitors will be able to build trophies that celebrate someone they admire in Creative Lab until November 3, 2025. It is billed as “a special nod to the LEGO Masters Academy spirit of celebrating creativity, confidence and collaboration.”  The activity runs until 3 November 2025.
  • On September 17 (2.00pm – 4.00pm), 19 (2.00pm – 4.00pm) and 20 (12.00pm – 2.00pm) visitors can engage in a special make and take, in which they will build their own LEGO Masters logo.
