LEGO Ideas is working on a new set, Tintin Space Rocket, which will bring the beloved character to the brick for the first time and is expected in 2026.
Originally created in 1929, Tintin has been a beloved character for almost 100 years – and now he will arrive as a LEGO character for the first time. Tintin Space Rocket has been announced alongside Godzilla as an upcoming set from the fan-driven theme.
21367 Tintin Space Rocket will launch on April 4 and is available to preorder now.
Alexis Dos Santos created a concept for 21367 Tintin Space Rocket build and shared it on the LEGO Ideas platform, where 10,000 fans agreed that it would make for a great model. It is inspired by the classic Tintin adventure Destination Moon.
The model is expected to see official release in 2026, by which point professional LEGO designers will have adapted the concept so that it meets the standard of a boxed product. The price and piece count are currently unknown, but the fan design uses 1,665 elements.

“To produce this project, the first phase was obviously to obtain all the visual references that I could find in comics and cartoons,” Alexis told Ideas. “Then I designed everything on Stud.io or LDD. When I was satisfied with the proportions and appearance of the model, I made a first assembly without the right colours, just to check if the connections were possible.
“I must have reached this point in five nights. A time-consuming and tedious phase followed, searching for and ordering the correct parts and then waiting for them to arrive, sometimes for several weeks. Finally, the phase in which I could see the end result and can share it with everyone arrived.”
Sebastian Veselka’s Downton Abbey and Fuma Terai’s Camping Trip build have been placed in the Parking Lot and will be considered by the LEGO Group for potential future release.
The designers behind 21357 Disney Pixar Luxo Jnr. recently discussed their process, as did the creatives who crafted 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine. You cna currently enter a contest to have your build displayed in LEGO House.
