The LEGO Group will be at London Pride 2022

Tomorrow is London Pride and the LEGO Group will be part of the celebration with hands-on build activities.

Pride returns to London tomorrow – July 2, 2022 – to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community. It’s always a well-attended event in the UK capital, with the parade route running through central London. The family area will be in St Giles Church Yard, Soho, open from 12.00pm. The LEGO Group has worked with Diversity Role Models on the company’s presence at the popular annual event.

LEGO activities will include leaving a message on the DOTS wall and adding to a mini brick-built Pride parade.

Get Blocks, the LEGO magazine for fans, every month – at a discount and earlier than the shops – order a 12-month or 24-month subscription. Direct debit payment options are available too; to find out more get in touch via subs@silverbackpublishing.rocks.

This will tie into the LEGO Group’s ‘A-Z of Awesome’ campaign, which is sharing messages from LGBTQIA+ families and individuals on the company’s social media channels.

Recently, the LEGO Group’s Vice President of Design Matthew Ashton accepted a British LGBT Award for 40516 Everyone is Awesome, the model released last year that celebrates diversity. You can read an exclusive interview about the set in Blocks magazine Issue 80 – available to order here.
