When designing 21360 Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, LEGO Senior Model Designer Laura Perron had the opportunity to add Willy Wonka's personal riverboat, the Wonkatania. But fitting such an elegant boat into the set proved a challenge, one that highlighted the importance of collaboration in the design process.

LEGO Ideas is taking builders to a world of pure imagination with its latest set: 21360 Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Based on the beloved 1971 film, the set features the chocolate river, candy plants and Wonkatania boat. Minifigure versions of Willy Wonka, Charlie Bucket, Grandpa Joe, the Oompa Loompas and populate the whimsical scene.
