The LEGO Group has announced Jurassic Park 77984 Jeep Wrangler, a set that has been designed in collaboration with Ford, plus a new Triceratops Skeleton set.
LEGO Jurassic World is offering a new classic Jurassic Park set – a scale model of the iconic Jeep that memorably appears many times in the classic Steven Spielberg movie. A social video showcases the new model and also reveals 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops skeleton, which looks to be in the same style as 76968 Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex.
The release date and price have not been announced, but 77984 Jeep Wrangler is made up of 1,924 pieces. Preorders are likely to go live soon. The Triceratops is clearly not the focus of the advert, so details about that set may be a little further away (although the signage shows that it will be available from LEGO Stores).

The Jeep is set in the context of Dennis Nedry departing Jurassic Park with his valuable shaving foam can full of dino DNA, as it includes the East Dock sign that doesn’t prove all that illuminating in the midst of a storm. A large canvas element adds authenticity to the model.
For a number of years, the LEGO Group has tapped into nostalgia for the original Jurassic movie in sets like 76956 T. rex Breakout, which featured the iconic Ford Explorer.
It has been a busy few days for LEGO set announcements, with 21367 Tintin Moon Rocket revealed, Super Mario minifigures teased and 72050 Mario Kart – Luigi & Mach 8 announced.
