The LEGO Group has unveiled a new functional set steeped in nostalgia – 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine, which channels both Classic Space and pinball action.
For the first time, the LEGO Group is launching a functional pinball machine. 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine will launch on July 1 at LEGO.com, priced at £189.99 / $229.99 / £189.99 and made up of 2,274 pieces.
11374 Arcade Pinball Machine builds a scaled down pinball machine that actually works. First, you build it just like any other LEGO set – then you pop the ball in place, pull the lever and start the game. To achieve the clever functionality, the model combines System and Technic bricks.

The tabletop pinball machine features a spring-powered launcher, dual flippers, spinning bumpers and an up-and-over ramp bridge, all built from LEGO elements. When you launch the ball, you can aim at targets to achieve the goal of reuniting an astronaut with a space-roving baby by hitting a key asteroid target. The bar records a player’s progress, to actually make the game competitive.
11374 Arcade Pinball Machine‘s theme is Mission Space and it leans into Classic Space iconography. The Classic Space minifigure astronaut is in the set, coloured light blue for the first time, along with a matching version of the tiny Space Baby figure. The duo also feature on the decorated elements running up the side of the pinball machine.
It follows other functional LEGO sets, with 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade delivering an ingenious replica of the actual game and 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine offering a working machine full of nostalgic minifigures.
Earlier this week, the first KPop Demon Hunters was announced, 72537 Derpy Tiger & Sussie Bird.
