21067 Tower Bridge is bringing the iconic London landmark to LEGO Architecture, the theme that focuses on world renowned locations.
The LEGO Group has announced Architecture 21067 Tower Bridge, a new large scale, detailed model for adult fans.
It is made up of 3,745 pieces and will retail for £269.99 / $349.99 / €299.99. It is available to preorder now.
Inspired by the real architecture of the historic bridge, the River Thames laps at the base, with waves crashing around the towers. You can raise the central bascules to allow ships to pass underneath, while the micro-scale vehicles wait to drive across. The bridge can be displayed with the bascules open or closed. The set features the iconic blue walkways that connect the two towers.

While 21067 Tower Bridge is a lot smaller than its predecessor, 10214 Tower Bridge from 2010, it still features the coat of arms in the centre of the walkways. This historic coat of arms for the City of London features a shield topped with a knight’s helmet and flanked by a pair of dragons. It then has a scroll bearing a Latin motto at the base. Almost all of these intricate details appear to be printed decorations.
The real location’s high level walkways offer views of the London city skyline from 33.5 meters above Tower Bridge road, letting visitors take in the panoramic views from both sides of the river. These walkways are not just for enjoying the view, as they also house the suspension cable that supports the full length of the bridge.
The walkways were closed in 1910 due to a lack of use (and an abundance of stairs to reach the top) but were later reopened in 1982 when the towers were refurbished as part of a tourist attraction outlining the construction and history of Tower Bridge. Now, visitors can meander the entire length of these walkways and spot some of the 13 million rivets that hold it together. Glass floors were later added in 2014, so visitors can watch black cabs and red double decker buses as they drive by underneath, or a ship if the bridge is open.
Designed to make crossing the east of the Thames River easier, more than 50 architects submitted designs to win the contract for a new bridge. Tower Bridge, designed by Sir John Barry, began construction in 1886 and took eight years to complete with the labour of 432 construction workers every day. About 31 million bricks were used to build Tower Bridge, which is a lot more than even the details that seem to be included in 21067 Tower Bridge.
Tower Bridge is one of the most iconic London landmarks to feature in LEGO sets, having not only appeared in 10214 Tower Bridge, but also 21034 London Skyline.
