It’s time for Christmas shopping, so there are new LEGO holiday sets that are free with qualifying purchases at the official LEGO online shop – and 40604 Christmas Decor Set is one of them.
40604 Christmas Decor Set will be available at LEGO.com for free with qualifying purchases along with 40603 Winter Carriage Ride (reviewed here). The threshold required to get the LEGO set for free hasn’t been announced yet.
There have been LEGO baubles over the year, usually a transparent plastic ball either filled with colourful bricks or with a mini model to build inside. With 40604 Christmas Decor Set, you actually get to properly build the baubles!
In the box there are bricks to build a red, green and orange bauble. They’re all the same style, taking advantage of the angular LEGO elements get a more angular shape than you’d expect on baubles. It works though and they look very sharp on the tree.
