How to unlock gold Batmobiles in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

Find out how to make the Batmobile – and even the Caped Crusader himself – go gold in the upcoming LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight video game.

Alongside LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, there will be a wave of accompanying LEGO Batman sets releasing alongside the game. The newly announced sets are 76330 Batman Logo, 76331 Batman v Superman Batmobile, 76332 The Batman Batmobile and 76333 Batman & Robin Batmobile. Each one will feature an exclusive code inside the box that can then be redeemed in the game to unlock special extras.

“Each one of these LEGO sets you can buy will have a specific code inside the box,” explains LEGO Model Designer Tin Nguyen. “You can then claim and redeem both the LEGO version and a golden version of the exact set in the game. How cool is that? You can play in a golden Batmobile in the game!”

The fun doesn’t stop there though because the codes can also be used together if fans buy all of the sets. “If you tie these to your LEGO Account, you’ll get a code to enter into the game and you will unlock one of these versions in the game itself. That’s the only way you’ll be able to unlock these in-game,” says TT Games Executive Producer Matt Ellison. “The other thing we’re doing is if you buy all three of these sets and redeem all three of them in-game, you will get an extra reward as well, which is a red brick that will basically put a gold effect around your character or your vehicle as you’re playing. Again, this will be the only way you’re going to be able to get that effect in the game.”

“Also, if you buy 76330  Batman Logo, then you’ll be able to redeem a code for this one as well – and that is the matching gold version of Batman,” adds Matt, referring to the exclusive golden Batman minifigure that is in the set. So if fans buy the whole wave then they will be able to be play as a golden version of Batman driving around Gotham in a golden Batmobile, which is likely to make The Joker jealous.

These redemotion codes are similar to the way that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga had a selection of LEGO Star Wars sets that could be unlock new vehicles and characters within the game, which included 75279 Star Wars Advent Calendar, 75291 Death Star Final Duel, 75292 The Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Transport and 75293 Resistance I-TS Transport.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is the upcoming action-adventure video game from TT Games that will explore Bruce Wayne’s rise to Gotham’s hero. As the promotion suggests, a big part of the game will be driving around in the Batmobile. Players will be able to explore an open world through Gotham City’s iconic streets, facing a roster of DC villains like The Penguin and Mr Freeze, with a brand new combat system that uses fluid combos and stealth. The game promises to offer the opportunity to solve puzzles like a true detective, use Batman’s iconic cape to glide between skyscrapers and unlock over 100 suits for the Batcave. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is releasing in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
