Here are five Death Eaters from Harry Potter that fans still need as LEGO characters so they can add some more evil to their minifigure collection.
A key part of the recently released LEGO Harry Potter 76453 Malfoy Manor is the long table in the dining room, with which builders can recreate the opening scene from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One in which Voldemort’s Death Eaters meet to discuss the next steps in the Second Wizarding War.
Over the years, there has been several Death Eater minifigures, ranging from the (in)famous – including Bellatrix Lestrange and Lucius Malfoy – to the somewhat obscure, including Walden Macnair (in 75947 Hagrid’s Hut: Buckbeak’s Rescue) and Corban Yaxley (in 76403 The Ministry of Magic).
Still, there are a few Death Eaters who need to be turned into minifigures – let’s cast Mosmordre and see who else could do with a seat at the table.

Augustus Rookwood
The revelation that Augustus Rookwood is a Death Eater is one of the most dramatic moments of Igor Karkaroff’s trial – until then, Rookwood had operated successfully as a spy within the Ministry of Magic for Lord Voldemort, but Karkaroff’s betrayal led to his imprisonment in Azkaban.
That is, however, until the Second Wizarding War, when Rookwood escapes, after which he participates in some of the war’s key battles, including the Battle of the Department of Mysteries. Any future build depicting this fight could include Rookwood as a fun named figure, a strong wizard fighting against Dumbledore’s Army.

Antonin Dolohov
Antonin Dolohov’s name appears throughout the later Harry Potter books – he’s present at the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, tracked the Golden Trio to the Lunchino café after the fall of the Ministry of Magic and participated in the Battle for Hogwarts, where he killed fan-favourite character Remus Lupin.
Whilst it would be best to get Dolohov in his dark robes, it would perhaps make the most sense to get in a model based on the café duel, a scene that has not yet been the focus of a set. Play features could include flipping furniture and exploding cabinets of food. Although Dolohov’s role is reduced in the Harry Potter films, this fearsome Death Eater really deserves a minifigure and would make a fine addition to the Dark Lord’s LEGO army.

Thorfinn Rowle
If Dolohov appears in a Lunchino café set, then it makes sense that his compatriot, Thorfinn Rowle is also included as the two attack the Golden Trio together. Rowle is the definition of a loose cannon – during the Battle of the Astronomy Tower, he sends killing curses in every direction, one of which kills his ally, fellow Death Eater Gibbon.
Still it’s Rowle’s cruel personality that makes him such a strong Death Eater – having him as a minifigure would mean any evil wizarding army has a very powerful soldier who’s ready to fight until the end.

Alecto and Amycus Carrow
Siblings Alecto and Amycus Carrow were present when Albus Dumbledore was killed by Severus Snape, but their role within the Second Wizarding War took off after the Death Eaters’ coup against the Ministry of Magic in 1997. Whilst Harry, Ron and Hermione spent their seventh year travelling in search of Horcruxes, the Carrows became Professors at Hogwarts, teaching twisted syllabuses of Defense Against the Dark Arts and Muggle Studies.
It’s the Carrow’s tenure at Hogwarts, however, that also gives them some flexibility about where they might appear in a LEGO set – they would be the perfect inclusion for a model that depicts the sacking of Severus Snape, maybe with a small Hogwarts build, or maybe split them across two Deathly Hallows focused sets.
