Blocks was able to gets hands on with the new LEGO NINJAGO Destiny’s Bounty Adventures board game and get a close look at the new Nya minifigure.

LEGO NINJAGO Destiny’s Bounty Adventures was recently announced as the next LEGO board game as part of the Danish company’s collaboration with Asmodee. It will be released on July 30 under the Dotted Games label and follows Monkey Palace and party game Brick Like This! (which was shown at last year’s London Toy Fair).

During the 2026 event, Asmodee showcases the new game, including its minifigures, playing board, cards, pieces and box. The Nya minifigure is exclusive to this game, which also includes Cole, Zane and Kai.

The cooperative game sees villains attack the Destiny’s Bounty, the iconic ship that is the team’s mobile base of operations. There are two tracks on the board – a ninja track and a villain track. Whichever filles up first determines who wins – and the players are of course playing as the iconic ninja.

Nya ZX wears her future vision suit from Skybound but in different colours.

Cards and tokens within the game will help the ninja or the villains, to make sure the battle is dramatic and challenging. To defeat the villains, it will be necessary to earn power ups.

Each ninja has a box of additional accessories. When you are able to play certain character cards, you can build new weapons or tools for the characters that will help them battle their enemies.

Based on a first look at the game, everything looks polished and well executed. The playing board is nice and clean, the artwork on the game cards looks absolutely fantastic. The mix of LEGO elements for each ninja looks interesting, as no two sets of accessories are the same.

LEGO NINJAGO Destiny’s Bounty Adventures is part of the LEGO Group’s wider celebration of the theme’s 15th anniversary, which includes activations at LEGOLAND parks and LEGO Stores, plus special sets like 71861 The Old Town and 71860 Lloyd’s Titan Mech.
