A new board game, NINJAGO Destiny’s Bounty Adventures, is a new board game that will be part of the big celebration for the 15th anniversary of LEGO NINJAGO, one of the LEGO Group’s most successful and long-running homegrown themes.
LEGO NINJAGO was never meant to run for more than a few years when it debuted in 2011. But the theme fast captured the imaginations of fans with both its sets and tie-in television series,to become a staple of the LEGO catalogue. And now it’s celebrating its 15th anniversary.
Celebrations for the anniversary include special sets — 71861 The Old Town being the largest — events and giveaways at LEGO Stores and LEGOLAND Parks, new NINJAGO-themed additions to Fortnite, as well as a new board game.
LEGO NINJAGO had a board game during the original run of LEGO Games back when the theme first launched, but given the cancellation of LEGO Games soon after, there was never much chance for a sequel.
The LEGO Group’s partnership with board game giant Asmodee has changed that — NINJAGO Destiny’s Bounty Adventures is set to release on July 30, 2026. Details on the game are sparse for now, but gameplay will be centred around defending the Destiny’s Bounty from a myriad of villains. Keep an eye to Blocks to find out all of the latest information.

Beyond the game, NINJAGO’s Fortnite presence will also expand, though exactly how is similarly under wraps at the moment. But given the theme has already been given its own LEGO Fortnite Odyssey island, regular, non-minifigure skins for the iconic Ninja characters and NINJAGO-themed emotes, it’s safe to say that the next NINJAGO update for Fortnite should be a big one.
