The Suicide Squad is a name that’s unlikely to be associated with a LEGO set, but thankfully the custom community can tackle any film they like – and this week’s Custom Corner from Blocks, the LEGO magazine for fans, spotlights a great rendition of Bloodsport.
Since there will probably never be any official LEGO sets from The Suicide Squad, almost every customiser on Instagram has tried to make their own since the movie was released. Kryptic’s Bloodsport, however, is one of the best of the bunch. It’s a rendered figure using official LEGO parts with @krypticbricks‘ own custom designs on them. All of the printing is accurate to Bloodsport’s look in the movie, and it even includes arm and side-leg printing, despite the fact it’s barely visible in the image.

The face is probably the best likeness of Idris out there, but the main reason to highlight this figure is the genius part choice of the Elves key piece to represent his unique guns. They’re so good you’d be forgiven thinking @krypricbricks had designed the part, and the gold rounded tile on them helps keep the colour scheme consistent. This is just one figure from the creator’s incredible Suicide Squad series, and it’s well worth following their account to see the rest.
