Choose the next builds to be displayed at LEGO House

LEGO House in Billund is preparing to welcome a new collection of models and the venue needs help choosing which builds to display.

LEGO House in Billund has an extraordinary variety of builds on display, including giant dinosaurs and a tree with boughs representing LEGO themes through the decades. The exhibits are never static, as new displays are added every year. The latest LEGO Ideas Challenge, which celebrates o100 such activities, is seeking builds to go on display throughout 2026.

The LEGO Ideas team need help though! There are 75 chosen designs that will be put on display, across three different categories – If it Runs on Rails, Under the Microscope, and 20,000 Bricks Under the Sea. The winner and runner-up for each category will be decided by the fans. Voting is open now and you can choose your favourite from each category.

These 75 talented LEGO builders will have their creations displayed at LEGO House for visitors to enjoy and receive a copy of 21037 LEGO House, the exclusive Architecture model only available to venue visitors. The Master Builders at LEGO House are creating three special trophies for the winners of each category. By showing your support through voting, you can help decide who will take home these imaginative brick-built trophies.

Each category is a celebration of creativity at different scales, with incredible interpretations of the themes. While there are plenty of classic trains and trams within If it Runs on Rails, there are also a few surprises. Fan designer ‘DeezikPl’ has created a train inspired by medieval times, which is under the care of noble knights saving injured or weakened dragons. The fan builder under the username ‘Crescentius55941’ is celebrating the everyday rails of stair lifts in a charming model that’s being pulled by a dog

Under the Microscope has a lot of biology and chemistry inspired builds, with a fabulous diorama by ‘Lightbringer127’ depicting the stages of white blood cells fighting bacteria and viruses with a level of accuracy to rival a medical textbook. Meanwhile ‘Sis Workshop’ reimagines the lives of ants in a microscopic home complete with a cosy library and kitchen.

And it’s clear that 20,000 Bricks Under the Sea inspired plenty of fans to reimagine the mysteries of the deep. There are mermaids, angler fish, sea monsters, and just about everything in between. A fan designer under the username ‘Ianhou_tw’ has taken a comical approach to underwater living as a crab conducts an eye test on an octopus. Then ‘MisterPlayfulSheep’ uses minimalism and subtle colour changes to beautifully capture the elegance of a jellyfish.

You can check out these builds and all the others on the LEGO Ideas Challenge page right now. You have until August 11, 2025 to cast your votes.
