The LEGO Group is joining this year’s Goodwoof Barkitecture event with a kennel built out of LEGO Bricks.
Goodwoof’s Barkitecture event has a new participant this year: The LEGO Group is submitting its own kennel design themed around the event’s ‘Dogs in Space’ theme.
Designed in collaboration with Fairy Bricks, the LEGO Group will be displaying its ‘U-Woof-O’ creation during Goofwoof weekend on May 16 and 17, 2026. The space-themed creation has been designed to evoke ideas of dogs travelling the cosmos in stylish comfort while they hop out on strange new worlds to play zero-gravity catch and experience all the joys of doghood in new ways.
At the conclusion of the event, the ‘U-Woof-O’ will be auctioned off along with the other Barkitechture designs in support of Battersea Dogs & Cats home, ensuring that the wacky creations do their part in supporting the lives of dogs right here on Earth.
“I am absolutely delighted that the LEGO Group is joining us at Goodwoof this year,” said The Duke of Richmond, CBE DL. “Having had a glimpse of the concept designs, I can’t wait to see the ‘U-Woof-O’ in May. This is a rare opportunity for LEGO collectors and design fans to own a truly exclusive piece of brick-built artistry. We are incredibly grateful to the team at the LEGO Group for helping us to raise funds for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and are sure that their lot will attract a high level of interest at the charity auction.”

“At the LEGO Group, we’re always looking for fun, unexpected ways to inspire creativity and bring families together through play,” added Kuran Sharma, Head of Marketing UK&I at the LEGO Group. “Partnering with Goodwoof is the perfect fit – it’s a celebration of imagination, shared experiences, and the joy that dogs bring to family life. We’re excited for one lucky individual to take away a one-of-a-kind LEGO build which will certainly be a talking point in the winning bidder’s home!”
Event attendees looking to take home a souvenir will be able to build their own mini ‘U-Woof-O’ models by pre-booking a building workshop (included in the price of the ticket). Multiple sessions will be held for children aged 6 – 12 with a daily workshop for adults as well.
Goodwoof takes place on the Goodwood Estate and is a celebration of all things dogs. Outside of Barkitecture and the LEGO building workshop, attendees can find all sorts of family (and dog) friendly activities, from Fido’s Lido to the Literary Corner. More specific details about this year’s event are expected to be available in the coming months.
