The Old Man and the Sea, a LEGO Ideas project based on Ernest Hemingway's novel of the same name, has been placed in the LEGO Ideas Parking Lot to undergo further review in order to determine whether or not it will become an official LEGO Ideas set.

Biggest LEGO Ideas reveal ever – six new sets announced
LEGO Ideas has revealed six new sets, including Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Downton Abbey and E.T. The announcement follows 57 product ideas reaching 10,000 votes in the first half of 2025. Three concepts are under further review, while the upcoming sets are expected to launch in 2026 or early 2027.
