The BRIT Awards are getting a LEGO brick twist at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester. Master Model Builder Jacob McPeake created minifigure versions of the nominees and a model of this year's trophy to celebrate the award show coming to Manchester for the first time.
The LEGO Group brings LEGOLAND Discovery Centres into the company
The LEGO Group is set to acquire all LEGOLAND Discovery Centres worldwide from Merlin Entertainments, who had owned and operated the attractions since their inception in 2007. This acquisition will bring LEGOLAND Discovery Centres under direct control of the LEGO Group, while LEGOLAND Resorts will remain with Merlin Entertainments. Both companies are owned by the Kirk Kristiansen family.
