Description
Issue 119 of Blocks, the monthly LEGO magazine, is celebrating the release of LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy with a special Force-filled issue. Go deep into the creation of the animated special, the tie-in models and of course the return of Jedi Bob.
All prices include delivery.
Hollywood screenwriters Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit reveal how they channelled their LEGO fandom and Star Wars love to mix up the galaxy like never before, Bobby Moynihan recalls what it was like to voice the legendary Jedi Bob and the LEGO Group’s designers explain how they created models that live up to the animated extravaganza.
The features are illustrated with all-new stills from the special and minifigure design sheets that provide a glimpse at how the creatives develop the characters. In addition to these behind-the-scenes tales, you can build your own wacky creations by following the instructions for three new Quick Builds.
It’s not all Star Wars though, as Issue 119 also features an upgrade for 10332 Medieval Town Square. See how you can take the existing model and infuse it with the DNA of 10193 Medieval Market Village, all while maintaining the same rustic style.
Reviews focuses on Harry Potter, taking a look at some of the theme’s newest releases, including 76440 Triwizard Tournament: The Arrival, 76427 Buckbeak, 76431 Hogwarts Castle: Potions Class and 76435 Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall.
This month’s Build & Chat sees Experience Designer Janne Lyng Sørensen stop by to build with Blocks Editor Graham E. Hancock. While putting together a set, they discuss her journey from designing Disney sets to crafting immersive, LEGO brick infused experiences that make a lasting impact on fans who visit Billund.
Also inside this 116 page LEGO magazine, you’ll also find a look at the rotating bricks that were never produced, what’s coming up at the Great Western Brick Show and Sheffield Brickfest, secrets within Fortnite 77073 Battle Bus and much, much more.
