Destiny’s Bounty Adventures is a new LEGO NINJAGO board game on the way later this year, releasing as part of the LEGO Group’s collaboration with Asmodee.
New details have been revealed about the LEGO NINJAGO Destiny’s Bounty Adventures board game, which was initially announced alongside the kick off of the NINJAGO 15th anniversary celebrations. The LEGO Group has released two games so far with Asmodee, the board game giant, namely Monkey Palace and Brick Like This! (which was unveiled at a similar time last year).
Destiny’s Bounty Adventures is a cooperative, family board game that will see players team up as the beloved Ninja to go on adventures on the iconic Destiny’s Bounty. And in a tale as old as time, those adventures won’t be easy, bringing the Ninja up against classic NINJAGO foes from serpents to pirates. One enemy is even set to be a very perplexed postman.
Defeating the various villains will require players to unlock their Ninja potential, which will involve upgrading skills and working together with other players using each character’s unique abilities. How this gameplay will work in practice has not yet been shared but should become available when the game is officially revealed at the London Toy Fair and Nuremberg Toy Fair, scheduled for January 20 – 22 and January 27 – 31, respectively.
Following the official announcement, fans will have to wait awhile to get their hands on the game — release has been set for July 30, 2026.

“We’ve created a board game designed to bring families together around a shared experience of fun, strategy and storytelling,” said Dotted Games CEO Birgitte Bülow. “Set in the established NINJAGO universe, the game offers immersive adventures that pull everyone into the action — from the youngest players to the oldest. Every game is a collective effort, where teamwork matters and every player contributes to the group’s success. It’s fun, engaging, and leaves everyone with a great sense of having achieved something together. Whether you’re deep in the story or just enjoying each other’s company, this is a game that brings real moments to the table.”
“It’s an exciting year as we are celebrating our 15 years of LEGO NINJAGO,” added LEGO NINJAGO Marketing Director Christina Burcea. “This anniversary year is all about celebrating fans and families and the Destiny’s Bounty Adventures is a great way for families and fans to get together to play, have fun and bond with each other.”
NINJAGO’s 15th anniversary is kicking off with NINJAGO Day, a two-day event at select LEGO Stores in Europe and North America. LEGOLAND Parks will have their own celebrations in the coming months, and the first batch of anniversary sets has already been released, coming with exclusive minifigures of the first elemental masters.
