60473 The City Tower is one of two flagship sets releasing for LEGO City in summer 2025 and the first downtown-style set released by the theme in several years.
Set to release on June 1, 2025, 60473 The City Tower will contain 1,941 pieces, seven minifigures and be priced at £179.99 / $209.99 / €199.99.
The set is by no means a typical skyscraper, rather a playful amalgamation of everything the LEGO City theme contains rolled into one gigantic tower that stands 49cm (19in) tall, 48cm (19in) wide and 44cm (17.5in) deep.
Contained in that impressive footprint are hints of LEGO City’s many subthemes, including a crane for construction workers, garages for fire and police cars, a tunnel for a streetcar, launchpad for a spaceship and more.
Seven minifigures populate 60473 The City Tower. Two are generic LEGO City minifigures — a firefighter to accompany the mini fire station and a train driver for the streetcar. The remaining five are all tied to the LEGO City No Limits TV series, which is sure to excite young fans of the show. And for fans just looking to add a few more minifigures to their LEGO City layouts, the show characters will function just fine as regular citizens.

The streetcar is a nice treat for fans of LEGO trains; it is just a single car, but it fits plenty of minifigures and has some appealing graffiti work on the sides, just like city train cars so often do (the graffiti is also used as another opportunity to tie-in with LEGO City No Limits, which has a number of references throughout the set).
Underneath the wacky combination of LEGO City subthemes is a respectable-looking building, somewhat reminiscent of the style found in 10251 Brick Bank, 2016’s modular building. Though, contrary to the set’s name, the tower building itself plays second fiddle to all the playful additions layered on top.
The functioning crane is likely to be another highlight of the set for many, and something that can be easily transferred to other places for additional play or display. It comes with a string that lets it raise and lower cargo, as well as an extendable arm and rotating control area.
There’s sure to be much more to discover with 60473 The City Tower once it releases (an entire launchpad is present on the roof). Interested fans can purchase the set beginning June 1, 2025. And consider doing so via our affiliate links to help support the work we do at Blocks magazine.
