LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 9 available to preorder

LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 9 sets are now up for preorder, with five new sets for fans to choose from.

BrickLink Designer Program Series 9 is open for purchasing now. The new collection offers an array of different sets inspired by historical and mythical locations that will be available to preorder until October 12, 2026 at 11.00pm UK time / 3.00pm PT.

All of these models were submitted to the platform by LEGO fans, then whittled down to five through a combination of user voting and selection by the BrickLink team. The preorder phase serves as the final test as a model must sell 3,000 copies in order to go into production. This sounds like a huge number, but every set has reached that goal so far.

The BrickLink Designer Program Series 9 LEGO sets up for preorder are:

910069 Fisherman’s Village

Inspired by the colourful architecture found along the New England coast, 910069 Fisherman’s Village uses 4,027 pieces to create a bustling pier and retails for £319.99 / $349.99. It features several different stores including a gift shop, lobster restaurant, watercolour studio and the general store. A lighthouse sits at the end of the pier to guide fishing vessels safely to shore on foggy evenings, with a little knob that allows the lamp to turn around. A small boat brings in its latest catch and a seal swims around the shoreline, perhaps hoping to sneak a fishy snack.

910072 Woodbrick Freight Depot

910072 Woodbrick Freight Depot uses 2,252 pieces and retails for £189.99 / $219.99. Fan designer Maria Kalaoglou researched real freight depots and industrial locations to develop a set that is realistic yet filled with storytelling. Deliveries arrive via the cargo train and can be loaded onto the waiting lorry via the functional crane. Porter Pete ensures that shipments move smoothly. He checks every piece of cargo, while Linda the Clerk fills out the paperwork in the Freight & Customs office. Every character has a name and backstory – even Duchess the golden retriever – demonstrating how though through every aspect of the model is.

910071 Wild West Blacksmith

910071 Wild West Blacksmith is another design inspired by real locations. It consists of 2,533 pieces and retails for £189.99 / $219.99. It is based on the blacksmiths there were essential to life on the frontier, equipped to fit horses with new shoes for long journeys and provide travellers with a place to rest. Collectors of BrickLink Designer Program LEGO sets will recognise this as set another part of the Lucky Town project by Lukasz Liuk, who is also the fan designer behind 910031 General Store, 910044 Wild West Train and 910078 Wild West Train Station. So if you’re hoping to continue to grow your Wild West display, this is worth a preorder.

910070 Sleepy Dragon Inn

Perfect for builders who want to step out of reality and into the realm of fantasy, 910070 Sleepy Dragon Inn consists of 3,121 pieces and retails for £239.99 / $269.99. The striking red and cream façade is reminiscent of medieval architecture, while a sign displaying a very sleepy dragon hangs over the door. There are two levels and a mezzanine inside, which can be revealed by opening the hinged walls on the back. Gallant knights can share tales of glory while a bard sings on stage, then up on the mezzanine there are tables for playing cards, while the attic is home to several cosy beds. It is scaled to fit alongside either 21325 Medieval Blacksmith or 910062 Alchemist Shop if you want to create a medieval village or broader medieval display.

910073 Pumpkin Patch

Finally, the smallest set available in this wave is 910073 Pumpkin Patch. It uses 613 pieces and retails for £44.99 / $49.99 to perfectly capture the spirit of autumn. Bright orange pumpkins grow amidst a sea of green vines, while yellow leaves fall from a little birch tree. There’s a lot of clever parts usage to create the different leaves and textures for the myriad of plants, with a few mushrooms dotted around for extra seasonal colour. There’s also a stand for the farmer to sell the pumpkins and watch out for pesky crows. Parts collectors might be especially interested in the newly recoloured LEGO parrot – here in black – which doubles as a crow hoping to snatch some pumpkin seeds.

All of these sets are available for preorder now and are scheduled to begin shipping March 2027.
