At Blocks, the monthly magazine for LEGO fans, we are committed to bringing the very best LEGO journalism, photography, reviews and exclusive features to readers around the world.
We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our international subscribers and customers, particularly those across the European Union who have helped ensure that Blocks continues to thrive and provide LEGO fans with a high quality publication to support their hobby.
We want to make our EU customers aware of an upcoming change that may affect deliveries of individual magazine issues and other orders.
Changes from July 1, 2026
From July 1, 2026, changes to customs procedures within the European Union may mean that some customers are charged a standard customs clearance fee of approximately €3 per item on goods valued under €150.
This fee is not a tax introduced by Blocks magazine or Silverback Publishing Ltd. Instead, it may be applied by your local postal service or customs authority when processing imported goods.
If applicable, the charge would be payable by the recipient before or at the time of delivery. Unfortunately, these fees are determined entirely by local customs and postal authorities.
We understand that any additional charges are frustrating, particularly for customers who have supported us for many years. We are currently investigating ways to minimise or avoid these charges wherever possible.
We’ll keep you updated
As soon as we have further information or if we are able to implement a solution that reduces or removes these charges, we will update customers through our website and other official communication channels.
We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding and continued support. Your subscriptions and purchases allow us to continue producing the in-depth LEGO magazine that readers around the world enjoy every month and we remain committed to delivering the best possible service despite changes beyond our control.
Thank you for supporting Blocks magazine.
