Fans enjoyed seeing the sardonic droid K-2SO make a triumphant return in Star Wars Andor Season 2. Withering in his observations, but also loyal to his fellow freedom fighters, he is a character you grow to care for despite the merciless violence he inflicts on his enemies. The release of 75434 K-2SO, the new statue edition of the character, gave Blocks the perfect excuse to show how to build a miniature version of everyone’s favourite reprogrammed Imperial droid.
K-2SO is a study in contrasts. His figure and appendages are straightforward to build. These enforcer droids have long, spindly appendages and a barrel-like chest giving them both towering height and a look of menacing strength. A pair of hinges at the arms and some wedge plates on the front and back capture this form. Bar and clip elements work well for the legs and arms.
