The LEGO parts you need to build mini Space Blacktron 1875 Meteor Monitor

When Blacktron debuted in 1988 it lacked something that every LEGO theme preceding it had launched with – a tiny, pocket money priced starter set. During the 1980s these toys at the bottom of the price pyramid usually cost less than £2.00.

Unusually, Blacktron’s smallest set was 6876 Alienator, priced at around £10, which is the equivalent of just over £20 today – a hefty price tag for 86 pieces. Confusingly, the LEGO Group remedied this two years later, after Blacktron had otherwise concluded, with 1875 Meteor Monitor. The release of 10355 Blacktron Renegade is the perfect time to update the theme’s smallest set.
