To celebrate this new model, this small version captures the warmth and charm of 10361 in a form that is even more accessible, compact and displayable.
Building the train at such a small scale requires inventive part usage to suggest key details without cluttering the tiny build. The locomotive’s smokestack and headlight are emphasised, while Earling bricks stand in for small windows. Capturing the polar bear at this scale is especially tricky and requires the use of new double curved elements. Couplers between cars are functional and minimal, preserving the flow of the train while avoiding bulk.
